the year 2000, we became the first site in New York City
to install the Intuitive Robotic system for open heart
surgery. Using three-dimensional video imaging and flexible
tools, surgeons will be able to see more and gain more
mobility with much less invasive means than is required
by conventional open-heart procedures. The revolutionary
system will allow surgeons to navigate the body with instruments
that imitate their skills and increase the precision of
these delicate procedures. |
